A Denver Lyft driver will likely spend the rest of his life in prison after he was sentenced Friday for kidnapping and sexually assaulting numerous women, according to prosecutors and court records.

On Friday, a Denver judge sentenced a ride-share driver to 290 years to life in the Colorado Department of Corrections for kidnapping a dozen women and sexually assaulting some of them.

A man who posed as a rideshare driver in Denver and was convicted of 30 counts related to the kidnapping, assaults and attempted assaults of a dozen women has been sentenced to 290 years in prison.
