Two waves of snow are forecast for Colorado this week: one starting tonight and continuing through Wednesday morning and one that will span Thursday through the weekend, forecasters said in a Hazardous Weather Outlook. As of Monday morning, snow total forecasts were only available through 6 a.m. Wednesday.

After last week's warm, quiet, summer-like weather, we are settling into an unsettled week of weather across the state. A dip in our jet stream brings the changes that will kick off across the state on Monday night for the high country.
