Trombone Shorty has taken center stage in New Orleans since was 4 years old and he'll perform at the Super Bowl in his hometown.

Trombone Shorty and Lauren Daigle, both Louisiana natives, delivered a rousing rendition of "America the Beautiful" prior to Super Bowl LIX Sunday in New Orleans. The performance rounded out a New Orleans-centered set of musical acts before the big game,

Normally a singer in his own right, Shorty simply played the trombone with backing from his band members, leaving Daigle to handle the singing duties. The two of them complemented each other perfectly and gave us an unforgettable performance.
