Two of Washington County’s top prosecutors and two defense attorneys for Bryce J. Schubert appeared in court Monday afternoon to update Circuit Judge Rebecca Guptill on their progress.

Melissa Jubane was reported missing last September. Two days later, police found Jubane’s body and arrested Bryce Schubert. Schubert’s charges include murder, kidnapping and abuse of a corpse.

Bryce Schubert, 27, is facing charges of first-degree murder, kidnapping and abuse of a corpse charges in the death of 32-year-old Melissa Jubane. He already pleaded not guilty to all charges.
