The 1-8 Atlanta Braves will be without one of their top starters for at least three months, and likely much longer. Reynaldo López underwent arthroscopic shoulder surgery Tuesday and will not throw for 12 weeks,

But the big news was Reynaldo López hitting the injured list with a shoulder injury, which will shut him down for the next 12 weeks. López, a 2024 All-Star, will be a major loss for the Braves to deal with after Charlie Morton and Max Fried left in the offseason.

Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Reynaldo López will miss most of this season due to a clean-up procedure on his right shoulder he had today in Los Angeles.
