Their souls were "lost" prior to the accident and on the island, and through a series of obstacles and seeking what's truly important, the characters managed to find a semblance of peace.

Trilobites are found in deep water and ocean throughout the Lost Island map. Once you encounter the creature, kill it and harvest its body with a hatchet or Moschops, and you will get some chitin.
