Officials in India say more than 40 construction workers are missing after an avalanche hit their camp in Uttarakhand state.

Authorities say at least 25 people remain trapped after avalanche hits a work camp, burying dozens under the snow.

Border Roads Organisation were rescued from the debris of an avalanche that hit Uttarakhand, while 8 are yet to be retrieved.
