The Philadelphia Orchestra has named a new assistant conductor, Naomi Woo. She's early in her career but already making a mark and paving a path for future generations of music lovers.

A conductor does a lot more that just keeping time. They have to know the music inside out and back to front. They shape the music the orchestra plays and lead them during performances.
