Ice Cube delivered World Series trophy to beloved L.A. Dodgers on Opening Day in classic style by driving into Dodger Stadium in his blue lowrider.

After a 4-1 World Series win over the New York Yankees, the Dodgers had one of the most fruitful offseasons in MLB, adding prized Japanese pitcher Roki Sasaki and two-time Cy Young winner Blake Snell among others while retaining Teoscar Hernàndez.

Ice Cube performed at Dodger Stadium during pregame festivities, entertaining both Dodgers and opposing players. Joe Davis re-enacted his famous call from Game 1, followed by Kirk Gibson delivering the ceremonial first pitch to Freddie Freeman. LOS ANGELES - Ain't no party like an LA World Series party.

Prior to their eventual 8-5 win over the visiting Detroit Tigers in 10 innings on Saturday, the Los Angeles Dodgers unveiled and handed out their 2024 World Series rings.  The Dodgers, you'll recall,

The Dodgers entered Friday with a 3-0 record after sweeping the Japan Series against the Chicago Cubs and taking their home opener against the Detroit Tigers on Thursday. One member of the 2024 team who didn't receive his ring was Tigers starting pitcher Jack Flaherty, who was preparing to make his Tigers debut against his old team.

Unlike 2021, when pandemic restrictions capped the crowd, the Dodgers received their 2024 rings with a full stadium and plenty of full-throated roars on Friday night.
