Dillon Brooks was ejected after a brief shoving match that many deemed as minor. As observed in a viral clip from the game, the altercation appeared to escalate over an aggressive play between the two players.
Brooks had eight points, a rebound, an assist, a steal and a block before exiting the game. The Rockets had a 55-38 lead at the time of his ejection and closed the second quarter on a 23-11 run to take a 78-49 lead into halftime on the Suns' home floor at Footprint Center.
The Phoenix Suns host the Houston Rockets Sunday in 11th place in the West, one game out of the 10th and final play-in spot.
