What was not particularly intended to be a box office blockbuster has become very much so, and both the Maid actress and her co-star Demi Moore have enjoyed plenty of awards season buzz, with the latter earning her first major Hollywood award after over 40 years in the industry.

"It took me probably, like, a year to recover physically from all of it," she told a podcast about the prosthetics used in the film.

Appearing in the latest episode of the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Qualley revealed that the prosthetics were so damaging to her skin that it impacted her next film, Yorgos Lanthimos’s Kinds of Kindness, in which she played several different characters.
