Air Force fighter jets intercepted a civilian aircraft flying in the temporarily restricted airspace near President Donald Trump's Florida home Sunday, bringing the number of violations to more than 20 since the president took office on Jan. 20.

NORAD said F-16s twice in the past 48 hours scrambled to respond to the aircraft, which were in violation of a temporary flight restriction.

Gen. Gregory Guillot, commander of the North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command, attributed the surge of more than 20 airspace violations near President Donald Trump‘s Mar-a-Lago estate to civilian pilots,
