SALT LAKE CITY - For the first time in 2025, the Winnipeg Jets have hit the road. Following a season-long eight-game home stand that saw the Jets (31-13-3) post a 4-2-2 record, the team begins a short two-game road trip with their first visit to Utah.

The Seattle Kraken travelled to the Winnipeg Jets on Jan. 16 for the last game of their road trip. The game was tied 1-1 heading into the third. It was ultimately the Jets who took the win, 2-1, at the last possible second.

As the Jets continue to battle for top spot in the NHL standings, the Flames have done an excellent job of keeping themselves in the thick of the battle for the second wild card in the Western Conference — currently one point up on the Vancouver Canucks for the eighth seed.

Dustin Wolf made 38 saves as the Calgary Flames ended the host Winnipeg Jets' five-game point streak with a 3-1 win on Saturday night.
