A Southwest Airlines plane at Dallas Love Field airport was struck by a bullet on Friday night causing the plane to return to the gate.

A bullet hit a Southwest Airlines airplane as crew members prepared to depart from Dallas Love Field Airport on Friday evening, the airline said. No injuries were reported from the incident aboard Flight 2494,

The plane was preparing for departure to Indianapolis when it was hit by gunfire, a Southwest spokesperson told BI.
