Coming off a third-round-best 65 that put him one shot into the lead in the Sanderson Farms Championship, Mitchell did his post-round Golf Channel interview and was asked how he might handle the pressure in trying to earn his second PGA Tour win. It was noted that he’d blown a fourth-round chance earlier this season in the Valspar Championship.
