For Android users on a budget, the Nothing Phone series has been a breath of fresh air. Founded by OnePlus co-creator Carl Pei, the handsets — especially the ‘a’ series — have combined a unique style with decent specs and a fair price, consistently making them some of the best cheap phones around.

Nothing released a new video detailing the Nothing 3A’s camera specs and comparing its photography performance against the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

What confuses things is that, as shortly after the report landed, Nothing confirmed to T3 that the Phone (3a) series will "feature a pro-level camera system", including a "new periscope lens with AI clarity-enhancing algorithms".
