The Peppa Pig Theme Park in Texas, designed for preschool-age children up to age 6, officially opened to the public on Saturday. Based on the popular Peppa Pig brand, the park comes from Merlin Entertainments, the company that operates Legoland theme parks, Sea Life aquariums and other attractions.

The theme park is not the only Peppa Pig attraction in North Texas. There is also a Peppa Pig World of Play, an indoor play center specifically for pre-K kids, located in Grapevine Mills Mall. Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Adventure takes riders along a track, passing smoky volcanoes and Peppa Pig characters.

Peppa Pig, the long-running British animated children's cartoon that follows the adventures of the titular Peppa Pig, will have its own theme park in the Dallas-Fort Worth area on March 1. The park offers young fans of the children's series a chance to step into Peppa's world beyond the television screen.
