A woman has been charged in connection with an incident late last year after authorities at Orlando International Airport said they found a dead dog inside a bathroom.

A woman was arrested Tuesday after police said she drowned her dog in an Orlando International Airport restroom because she couldn’t take it on her flight.

The Florida woman accused of killing and discarding her dog at Orlando International Airport is out on bond. Alison Lawrence was arrested this week after the dead animal was discovered in the airport’s bathroom in December.
