India's precision strikes against 9 terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir which killed about 100 terrorists, codenamed Operation Sindoor, has set a new normal against terrorism, said prime minister Narendra Modi on Monday night.

Operation Sindoor was a swift and decisive military operation launched by India in response to a deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, on April 22, 2025, which claimed the lives of 26 civilians.
