Highway patrol Sgt. Clark Parrott told ABC that Whitewater Fire Protection District Chief Garry Moore, 68, died Wednesday. His exact cause of death is unknown at this time, but the patrol said it is believed that he was assisting a stranded motorist. He died on Missouri Route 25 between Delta, Missouri, and Advance, Missouri.
