The greatest danger on Wednesday is in western Tennessee, northern Mississippi, eastern Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas and southern Illinois, all of which were under a "high risk" warning – a five out of five on the Weather Prediction Center's scale.

A tornado watch is already in effect for much of Oklahoma as another round of severe storms moves through the state Wednesday morning.

Stillwater and the rest of central Oklahoma are officially now under a Tornado Watch, according to the National Weather Service in Norman. A Tornado Watch means conditions are favorable to developing tornadoes.
