Some type of scuffle broke out, and one person — likely a student — wound up on the ground, bleeding from an apparent stab wound, according to video from the scene.

A man is in critical condition after being stabbed at a protest against President Trump's immigration and deportation policies near Los Angeles City Hall, the LAPD said.

The Los Angeles Police Department said a victim was stabbed and transported to a hospital, but did not release any further details about the 1:30 p.m. incident.
