Some days really can be “the pits” at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Often, things out of a driver’s control get in the way of a desired outcome. Other times, a great strategy delivers victory. Both sides of the pits were on display this Mother’s Day weekend at the IMSA Monterey Sports Car Championship at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

With drivers Laurin Heinrich and Klaus Bachler, AO Racing won its third consecutive race (GTD Pro at Sebring and Laguna Seca, GTD at Long Beach) by beating the No. 81 DragonSpeed Ferrari 296 GT3 and No. 3 Corvette Racing Z06 GT3.R.
