Hellblade II has picked up the most nominations at this year's Bafta Games Awards. The action-adventure game, developed by Cambridge-based studio Ninja Theory, is up for awards in 11 out of 14 categories at the annual ceremony.

Instead of the ubiquitous Astro Bot, it’s Ninja Theory’s Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 that tops the BAFTA nominations chart, with 11 nods. Hellblade 2 is nominated for the British Game, Game Beyond Entertainment, and Narrative awards, as well as in multiple performance, technical, and craft categories — but it missed out on a Best Game nomination.

The 21st edition of the BAFTA Game Awards will be taking place in London on April 8th, and the nominations have just been announced, which include 11 for Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 - the most that any game has received this year.
