Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein—now officially operating under the name NJZ, have given their first exclusive interview to CNN since announcing their name change. During the interview, the quintet addressed their new identity as NJZ.

NewJeans members Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin and Hyein look to the future with new music, headlining ComplexCon Hong Kong, and changing the group name to NJZ.

Amid an ongoing contract dispute, the K-pop group announced a new name and shared plans to debut a song during a March festival.

Group will make debut performance in city under their new name, joining a line-up including MC Jin and Zico from March 21 to 23.
