A fire has destroyed a building at the Highland Golf Club in Shelton, with some propane tanks on the property also exploding, a fire official said.

A structure fire late Friday night has destroyed the Highland Golf Club in Shelton, says the Shelton Fire Department. Around 11:30 p.m. multiple emergency calls reported a fire at the Highland Golf Club at 261 Wooster St.
