NewJeans members announced a rebranding to NJZ without ADOR's involvement while preparing for a concert in Hong Kong, signaling a new direction in their music.

Group will make debut performance in city under their new name, joining a line-up including MC Jin and Zico from March 21 to 23.

K-pop stars NewJeans have changed their name to NJZ after splitting with their label ADOR, which is a subsidiary of HYBE.

Speaking exclusively to CNN, one of the biggest-selling K-pop acts, NewJeans, announced that it will perform under its new name for the first time at ComplexCon Hong Kong in March.
