Clemson coach Dabo Swinney passed Florida State legend Bobby Bowden for most wins at the helm of an ACC program on Saturday as the Tigers beat Florida State 29-13 on FSU's Bobby Bowden field at Doak Campbell Stadium.

Bowden finished his career with 377 NCAA -recognized wins, with 173 coming with Florida State as members of the ACC. Swinney, who has spent his entire head-coaching career with Clemson, won his 174th game when the Tigers beat the Seminoles 29-13 on Bobby Bowden Field.

Dabo Swinney passed Bobby Bowden for the most ACC wins by a coach after his team beat the Seminoles on the field named after the legendary FSU coach.

Swinney picks up his 174th win with the Tigers, breaking the record for victories at an ACC school previously held by the Seminoles’ Bowden.

Dabo Swinney is now the all-time leader in wins amongst ACC head coaches. Swinney won his 174th game on Saturday night, breaking a tie with the late Bobby Bowden for the most wins all-time by an ACC head coach. Bowden won 173 games from 1992-2009 when the Noles were members of the ACC.
