Walter Clayton Jr. pulls through for Florida again as Gators fend off Auburn late to make program's first national title game since 2007.

SAN ANTONIO — Walter Clayton Jr. scored 34 points and Florida beat SEC rival Auburn 79-73 in the Final Four on Saturday night, sending the Gators to the national championship game for the first time since their titles in 2006 and 2007.

For much of Saturday's Final Four clash between No. 1 Auburn and No. 1 Florida, the Tigers were in position to advance to the National Championship game. Auburn held an eight-point lead at the end of the first half and led by as many as nine points. They were in command, until they weren't.
