The Green Bay Packers already know that one of their games will be featured on Monday Night Football in Week 10 of the regular season. They'll face the Philadelphia Eagles, who not only won the Super Bowl last season but also ended the Packers' playoff run.

For the first time since 2018, the Green Bay Packers will open the regular season at home. According to Jordan Schultz of FOX Sports, the Packers will host the Detroit Lions at Lambeau Field during Week 1 of the 2025 regular season.

The Packers haven't opened the season against the Lions since 2005 and haven't opened the season at home against them since 2001. The Lions have won six of the seven last meetings between the teams, including both games in 2024 (24-14 at home in Week 9 and 34-31 in Detroit in Week 13).
