So beautiful and not crowded at all. The water is bright blue with the green cliff backdrops just made for an incredible experience. The coral is pretty much dead, but still many fish to see.Full review by msa23_2000
Can anyone suggest a tour company for non divers? We snorkel but have no diving experience. Will we still get a lot out of a trip to Palau? Thanks

My visit to the Rock Islands was a sight-seeing/snorkeling trip. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the company, as I was there in 2004. My advice is to contact current Peace Corps Volunteers! They live on the islands, know the language, and know how to do things on the cheap. You can search online for Peace Corps Micronesia/Palau and see what pops up.
Are the rock islands, milky way and jellyfish lake possible in 2 days? Also where is the world war 2 wreckage site located in Palau? Many thanks Josh

The Milky Way and jellyfish lake are located in the Rock Islands. You will get to see some beautiful scenery just transiting on the way to those two sites. We went out on the dive boat five days and each time we went to the southern end of the island chain and that is not where the World War II wreck sites are. Sorry but we did not see any World War II aircraft or ships and I'm not sure where they are.
Hi Am planning to visit Palau in December. Any suggestions for how to get to the Rock Islands for a day trip from Koror? Suggestions on a travel agency will be helpful. Thanks

No, you can't. The Rock islands are a UNESCO heritage site and somewhat tightly watched. (This is a good thing). You are only allowed in certain areas and all the dive tours and snorkle/kayak tours know where you are allowed to go. Check out Sam's tours. We did a snorkel/kayak tour.
