Moscow is a borough in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 2,039 at the 2020 census. It is located 11 miles southeast of Scranton and 24 miles southwest of Honesdale. Moscow was settled in the 1830s and is said to be named for the Russian city by early settlers who may have been Prussian Lutherans.
