We found coupons out of the visitor books there. I think we paid close to $100 each which included a travel there.

Is there a different pricing for people who drove there by themselves?

Aloha! Yes, you may purchase luau tickets and drive out on your own, however, if round trip transportation from Waikiki area is needed, it can be arranged for additional $35. per person.
