I was aware of this bridge mostly from YouTube clips of its twisting-in-the-wind and subsequent spectacular failure. The bridge ripped apart and fell into Puget Sound at the age of 4 months in 1940. …Full review by Cali4niahiker

Traveling through Tacoma toward Gig Harbor and back again to the Seattle area you cross this bridge. It is a beautiful structure, with incredible backdrop of surrounding views.Full review by Stephwall
