We visited two sites in the afternoon, spent the night in a little motel in Mountainair, and then visited the other site in the morning. The visitors center in Mountainair is well worth a visit. All of the sites are different and interesting. If you are driving from Albuquerque, plan to leave early and spend the whole day. There are visitor centers at all three sites but the main one is in Mountainair. There are no fast food restaurants near the sites, so you probably need to pack a picnic lunch.
