Planning a trip in December. What are dive conditions usually like then? Vis, water temperature, waves, currents?

We were not there in December but from what i understand, the conditions stay pretty nearly the same all year round. This trip is worth a go in any condition.
Do you offer scuba diving in October? I have heard that some locations get unsafe with the October waves. What areas do you have groups dive in that type of year? What kind of wet suit do you recommend to stay warmest then? This will be my first time diving in actual waters (took one lesson recently in an indoor pool!)
