I stayed in the golden mango and loved it in Siem Reap My Angkor Wat day trip in tuk tuk was $15 for the full day. Saw plenty and had a great time. It’s very hot though so be prepared. The second day I went to Angkor Wat for sunrise, then Kbal S, the ladies temple (can’t think of name sorry)and the land mine meusum. We then went back to Angkor Wat for some of the temples that I didn’t see the first day. That day trip was $30 in the tuk tuk. Have a brilliant time. I loved it
we will be staying in siem reap and would love to go to kbal spean, is there any taxi services from siem reap and more importantly -is there any from kbal spean? we will not have the use of phones to call one and i worry we would be stranded there. also is there any tips of car hire as it seems this would be the best option although i cant find anything on google

Hire a tuk tuk at your hotel or hostel take a full day trip to Kbal Spean then go on to lady's Temple and choose 2 other temples for your return trip. It is a 1.5km walk in jungle to get there …
Hire a tuk tuk at your hotel or hostel take a full day trip to Kbal Spean then go on to lady's Temple and choose 2 other temples for your return trip. It is a 1.5km walk in jungle to get there so most drivers like to do it early so it's cooler. It cost us 50 usd for the tuk tuk for the day it is more than a standard day as 45km from Siem Reap so you pay extra for the fuel. There are coaches that go out there I think but we didn't use so can't give any details on them.
One or question! Would it be dangerous for me to scooter there? Thanks :]

No, but it would be quite hot and tiring. PLUS from the base of the hill you have to climb anyway. And that is for at least 45 minutes. So it's preferable to hire a car.
