Amazing. A must see for all sorts of reasons. The views, the sea, the walks and of course the history. Blah blah blah to 100Full review by Vinda K

Hello Everyone. I have booked to come to Dunkerque in August with my husband 2 children - 12 & 14 for 4 days. A lot of the comments below seem to suggest that the weather can be quite hit and miss so I am wondering how much there is to do indoors if the weather is quite bad that you would recommend to our family. Multiple comments seem to suggest restaurants are not open before 12 and then others say that the restaurants are closed between 2 and 7. Can someone please clarify this for me? We were thinking of travelling to Eperlecques in addition to seeing Dunkerque itself. Can anyone recommend anywhere else within a 30 minute drive which would be worthwhile visiting. And lastly. My daughter has informed me that she wants to try L'escargot while we are there. Is there a "best" place to go for that? Thank you. Elisa
