Hidden gem, tough walk, so worth it, the eateries & accommodation along the foreshore built into the cliffs is incredible to look back and take it all inFull review by markc000018

Hi, Can anyone tell me the names of some accomodation places right down the stairs at Bingin to stay overlooking the beach. Some reasonably modest priced places preferable. Thanks

Hi Melanie, It depends on where you are staying now. if you just landed in the airport try to get the airport taxi, it's about IDR 200K-250K, if you think it's still high rate, you can use the Online App Taxi, like Gojek/Gocar or Grab it's about IDR 100K-150K,(but it's not allowed to use in the airport, so you have to walk out of the airport). Uluwatu beaches are mostly spread out, so the best way to explore is by riding scooter. hope it helps..

Hi there, the only lights are from the accommodation running down the hill. There are some parts where it’s pitch black at night, namely at the top/start of the stairs & leading along the pathway. Best bet is to make sure your phone is charged or you have a flashlight of some sort.
