The ladies running the coat check were so sweet. This place so far has been the nicest thing about Munich. Marienplatz was pretty dirty so this was a pleasant surprise.Full review by Family Friendly M

I would skip it. The building was leveled in WW2 and rebuilt in 1950's. Interior lacks original detail. It's room after room of the audit tour telling you about where the furniture was …

I would skip it. The building was leveled in WW2 and rebuilt in 1950's. Interior lacks original detail. It's room after room of the audit tour telling you about where the furniture was obtained and who designed the cloth upholstering the wall. The exterior was poured concrete faux painted to give the appearance of carved stone.

You don’t have to. You pay on entry and under 18s are free . I think it cost around 7 Euro’s including headphones.

during WW2 a great part of the "Residenz" was distroyed it was rebuilt but unfortunatly WITHOUT AC
