Good ghost town to visit. Lots of buildings and they are working to restore some of them. The hotel is the best building in the town. Allow about an hour to walk around and take lots of pictures.Full review by sandymcdaniel99

Pretty cool little historic mining ghost town. It was amazing to see some of the original structures inside and out. It must have been a hard life in the winters.Full review by TravelinMan678

Questions & answers

Q:
Are there any campgrounds with shower facilities near Bannack?
A:
In Bannack, no. There are two campgrounds there, but no showers. The closest will be Dillon. There is a KOA there.
Q:
Are dogs allowed
A:
Yes they are allowed on leash. Bring water for your dog and bags to clean up after them. I live in nearby town and we take our dogs there frequently.
Q:
Can you get married here?
A:
No, I cannot get married in Bannack State Park -- I'm already married, and we have laws regarding polygamy here. =`:^p But I suspect that _you_ can get married there!
Q:
Can we walk our dogs on a leash of course through the ghost town? TYIA
A:
Yes, we have done it many times. Take poop bags and clean up after your dog
