WEBMay 3, 2021 · My telegram account has been in updating status for the past 2 days. I have tried resintalling, restarting the phone, trying it on my desktop app, trying it on various different networks but to no avail. I have another phone number and switching to that account within the app doesn't seem to have any issue.

I can open the app, scroll down to see different conversations, slide to settings, and to the left as well, but I cannot open any messages. It's taking up the top part of my screen on mobile, and when I swipe down to access archived chats, it throws stories up first now.
